I was so happy when Lisa booked this Fall session as the last time I had a session with them was two years ago, during the cherry blossom.
The girls are have really grown up, and pretty! :)
Here are some images from The Teers session! :)

Duy & Faiza | Urban Tokyo Session
I just realized that I haven't shared the images from one of my favorite sessions ever, like ever! :)
While the husband was meeting and learning from other jugglers at the annual Japan Juggling Festival, I as a photographer enjoyed Tokyo by taking pictures. So so many amazing and interesting subjects in Tokyo! Been there for four (or maybe five) times, but it just feels never enough. Maybe this is the sign that we need to go back to any US military Base in Japan, esp the one near Tokyo, ex: Yokota or Zama. LOL
Anyway, I met Duy and Faiza, who came from Fussa area, at the Harajuku station. As always, the area was insanely packed!
After Faiza changed her outfit to a beautiful Saree, we headed to Meiji Shrine as our first location. Well, it's of course also crowded, we somehow managed to get some empty spots for pictures, though! :)
We just couldn't leave Harajuku without taking a few quick pictures at the Harajuku street, of course!!
We, then, moved to our second location...
The most famous crossing in the world, SHIBUYA CROSSING! Say whaaaaat???! :)
Before we took pictures, Faiza told me that they are going to do the Mari Cart after the photoshoot. They basically are going to drive a cart around Tokyo in a costume! Oh my!!
I of course begged to tag along with them to the Mari Cart place!
I mean.....
I'll blog about the Mari Cart later! You definitely don't want to miss it! :)
Anyway, it was such a fun day with Duy and Faiza! I hope they enjoyed their time with me, and most of all like their pictures! :)
Cheers,
Nizar

Ryan Bronislaw Larsen II | Newborn
Since the Larsens chose Fresh48 session as their newborn package, so instead in-studio session, the shoot was taken at the hospital and at the nursery room.
Check some images from their session below.
Nine days later, I went to their house to take the lifestyle session. Oh, let me tell you about their house, it's amaaaaazing! It's clean, detail, and well-designed.
I'm jealous! :)
So here are some pictures at the Larsens'..
Oh the grandparents! :)
I also did a quick snaps for Ms. Summer's room...
Siena Loraine DiBlasi | Newborn
Ms. Siena was sooo good during her session!!
I was so happy that I could do all three different sets plus parents shoots in less than 2 hours!
Proofing has delivered, birth announcement cards have ordered, then here are some pictures from Ms. Siena's session..
And those who have been following my newborn sessions or were my newborn clients know exactly that I LOVE babies' details.
And Ms. Siena with mommy and daddy....
Amilia is ONE | Smashcake Session
It's been always a pleasure working with this family. Again, I love how Rachel knew what she wanted this session, and prepared it very well.
This session was taken at one of my fav parks in Iwakuni, Nagayama Park. It's a small yet pretty park, and it's close from the Base!
Anyway, below are few pictures from Amilia's session. What a happy baby girl!
Time to clean up, shall we? :)
This is the only image that I edited with this style as I think this image suits this editing.
The Wagner Family
Here are few pictures from The Wagners' session in Miyajima! :)
Sastri & Rio | Lamaran
I've known Sastri for about 7 years. We first met at one of Indonesian traveling communities, she was at the college that time, and now.. 7 years later, Sastri has her dream job, an aspiring travel journalist :)
Last Saturday, I had a pleasure to capture her "lamaran" day. It's a pretty day; Sastri, Rio (Sastri's fiance), and their family looked happy, and I definitely could feel the love around :)
Lamaran Nikah is literally translated marriage proposal. In Indonesia, a marriage proposal is not only between the man and the woman; it includes their both whole big family. The day of the marriage proposal, two family meet (usually at the soon-to-be bride's house), and introduce each person in the family, either they are attend the proposal or not. After introduce each other, the soon-to-be groom will ask formally to the soon-to-be bride (and her parents) whether she accepts his offer to marry him or not. Most likely at this point the soon-to-be bride will say YES! In lamaran, both family have set the time of tunangan (the engagement day) and the wedding day.
Here are sneakpeek of Sastri & Rio's portraits on their Lamaran Day..
Loving the make up!
This is the time when Sastri finally said, "Ok now I'm nervous.."
LOL
Few portraits of both Sastri & Rio...
Don't they look lovely in their Javanese attire??
"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind."
- William Shakespeare
I'm so sad that I won't be able to attend their wedding day, yet I hope everything goes well until their big day!
Cheers,
Nizar
Aulia & Guntur | Prewedding Session in Bali, Indonesia
Aulia has booked three months before my visit to my home country, Indonesia. Our original location was in Jakarta, but then Aulia changed her mind when she knew I'll be in Bali for 10 days.
We did their session at three different locations: Aftertaste Coffee & Breakfast (a cute little brunch restaurant owned by my cousin, which actually the decision to choose this location was a last minute thing :) thanks to my dear cousin and her husband), Pandawa Beach, and a random Balinese door (I asked them to do few shots here - I meant, you can find the cafes and the beaches anywhere, but that Balinese door only available in Bali).
Below are only FEW (from tons) pictures I got for Aulia & Guntur's session.
Aren't they gorgeous??? Those were taken at the Aftertaste Coffee & Breakfast. Now onto those in Pandawa Beach, shall we?!
Yep, be jealous! :) And finally, the last few shots from our last **random** location.. :)
I really can't choose my fav (there are more pictures that I don't post here, btw!), and now you know why! :)
Anyway, I hope you like them as much as I do!
Matur suksma!***
Cheers,
Nizar
***Matur suksma means THANK YOU in Balinese language

Luca is ONE | Smashcake Session
Ooh... I had so much fun working with Luca!
He is a cute and happy baby! And man did he know how to smash the cake! LOL
Below are sneakpeeks from Luca's session. I believe Mom and Dad have difficulties to choose their fav images! :)
Regards,
Nizar

And we did more after Luca took a break.. ;)
Btw, I didn't pose those tiny legs. Luca did it by himself. So cute!!!
The Atkins Family
Oooohh.. This family is just so good looking! I genuinely said it. Even my husband, who barely gives compliment to everything, said that Atkins children are beautiful!
I'm glad I could do this session before Jannell and kids leave Iwakuni next week.
Here are few pictures of their session.
Ms. Goji | Newborn Feline
My very first experience taking picture of newborn.. errr.. I mean kitten :)
Ms. Goji was pretty amazing. She's just chilled after I wrapped her. She's super wide awake, so no sleep baby (eh kitten) pictures here, tho. Hehe.
DISCLAIMER:
All fabrics I use for kittens are prop destash from my newborn sessions. Hence no kitten fabrics/wrappers are going to be used for human babies, unless I have two stocks of a same item.
And a quick snap with her 'siblings'. LOL
Hana & Maya Uedoi | Newborn Twins
This is my first twins session, and I LOVED it so much!
Hana-chan and Maya-chan weren't technically newborns when I took their pictures as they were about 7 weeks old. But since they are twins, even they're 7 weeks old, their weights were as same as those big newborns.
Here are some of their pictures!
Here's a quick fun picture before we started the session. They were wide awake! :)
The cutest!!!
Hosting Your Headshot Party!
I'm so excited to offer this headshot party for my beautiful MCAS Iwakuni ladies.
This party is inspired from my photographer's friend, Danielle Caceres Photography. For me this party isn't only a photo session to update your Linkedin profile; but also a fun time to spend with friends, an excuse to get make up done, get some gorgeous headshots, then even go to a date night with your husband since you have that make up done.
If you are interested to update your personal brand, or even just to get fun shots of yourself, yet you still want to save money, why not hosting this Nizar Wogan Headshot Party?
As a host you will get FREE headshot (Premium Package! Not include the hair & make-up) from me!
So you are ready to be a host, then what should you do next? Here you go:

The Schmidt Family | Change of Command H&HS
Well, here I am again with another Change of Command. This one is from H&HS, the biggest unit in MCAS Iwakuni.
Thank you for the Schmidts for asking me again to capture one of your important milestones in Iwakuni.
Here are some images from the H&HS Change of Command.
I was lucky enough to get few shots of the new CO of H&HS, Lt.Col Campbell and his parents.
And of course, last but not least, the Schmidt family..
Again, thank you the Schmidts for making me your family photographer :)
Carlie, The Mermaid
I never believe there's a mermaid in Iwakuni, until I photographed her.... :)
