I took their cherry blossom pictures last year, when they were family of four. But they got to take another one this year because now they are family of five!
Their session was supposed to be today, but we changed it earlier as the forecast kept saying today's raining should be worse than yesterday, which actually today was better than yesterday.. Of course!
Here are few images from The Ivascus, and happy birthday Kaitlyn!!!
The Boswells | Cherry Blossom 2016
It was pleasure to work with this beautiful family again! Last year I did their cherry blossom, too, and boy does one year make a big different!
I love love love MaryAnn's hair cut, she looks so young and super pretty! My camera definitely loves her flawless skin and beautiful face! :)
And Ryker.. Hahaha. This little dude's expressions kill me! I kept laughing when I was editing their session. LOL
Anyway, here are only few of my faves from The Boswells' session!
The Loewensteins | Cherry Blossom 2016
It's my first time working with The Loewensteins, and sadly maybe my last time to work with them as they are going to PCS soon. *sad face*
I really loved my session with them as they were so easy to work with :)
I got lots of good shots from their session, and here are few of my faves.
The Flores | Cherry Blossom 2016
They got stuck in the traffic soo bad on their way to the Kintai Bridge yesterday, hence we had only about 15 minutes to do the shots, but good thing I got about 10 minutes in between my third and fourth clients so I could do few more shots of them!
Daddy isn't in town now, but I think this "Mommy and Me" session was perfect!
So here are some of my faves of The Flores' session :)
The Brickmans | Cherry Blossom 2016
OH MY GOD! That's all I wanted to say about this family's session. I felt so bad as my clients today (including me) got stuck at the traffic! It seems all people in Japan went to Kintai today. It took me almost 1,5 hrs to get to Kintai, which normally only 15-20 minutes.
But anyway, I'm glad they made it! Although.. I'm still can't believe that Carol forgot to put the right shoes on Leah as she wore flip flop today, hence I asked her to pose without the sandals a couple times. HUFH! Lol
Here are some shots from The Brickmans' session today.
The Aranhas | Cherry Blossom 2016
I would say that this family was SUPER lucky to be able to do their session today. We had raining all day, but it stopped at 4 p.m, an hour before their session.
I'm so glad this gorgeous family was able to do the session with me this afternoon, as they now are flying to the States.
Have a safe flight, the Aranhas! Have fun there!
Here are some of my fav from their session! And yes, oh I'm so jealous with how pretty Heather is! LOL
And of course some "Mommy and Me" shots..
The Schmidts | Cherry Blossom 2016
This was the first session of my Cherry Blossom's session 2016. Their original date was supposed to be tomorrow, but duty called hence they needed to change the date. But it worked well.
Here are some of my faves from their session.
PS: I love love love the fact that the kiddos really know how to pose now! :)
And this "Mommy and Me" moment might be one of my fave images ever! Color or BW, I can't decide as I love them both!
Jessica | Headshot
Howdy! How are you all! It's been a while since my last blog (and my last session!). I'm still here, but I've been so insanely busy, not from taking pictures, but from working for my other two growing companies back in my country, Indonesia.
Anyway, here are some images of Jessica's headshot that I took a couple days after I got back from Indonesia. I really enjoyed this session and loved the images so much. Isn't she stunning?!

Bobby, 3 Months Old | Milestone
Yesterday was an awesome day in my studio. After had an easy session with China-chan, I got a chance to work with Bobby. This stud was just amazing! He was smiling and laughing during this quick session.
These are some of my fav shots of Bobby!
~Nizar
This last one cracks me up as he looks like saying, "Heeeeeey.. ENOUGH!" LOL

China-chan | Smash Cake Session
It was my first time working with China-chan (or you can call her Tina). She's a joy to work with. There's no cranky whatsoever.
Mom made the cake. I called it the healthy smash cake as it contains ZERO sugar. At first she wanted to make a tofu cake, man was I excited to know it. But later Mom changed it to yoghurt cake with lots of fruits and broccoli as its topping (YEP you read that correctly, BROCCOLI!) :)
China-chan is a clean baby, hence she wasn't a big fans of making mess during the smash cake part, you can tell from the last image here. LOL
Anyway, here are few shots from China-chan's session.
Enjoy!!!

Angie | Pin-Up Session
Oh oh! Look at Angie! She looks amazing, eh? I had so much fun doing this session with her. I'm so glad we made it although it was cold and windy day. Here are some images from her session.

Every item of our WoganBlocks is personal and custom made. These products are covered with protection layer, hence they are water and light resistant. I WAS a big fan of canvas, but now I converted!
They are available at our STORE! Check them out!
These are some samples I put together for these WoganBlocks :)
Tim - Ciara | Engagement Session
I started my 2016 with a lovely engagement session of Ciara and Tim.
Two beautiful people and a beautiful Kintai Bridge as its background make A LOOOOT of amazing pictures.
These are some images of their session.
Cheers,
Nizar
Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016: Happy Holidays!!!
Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year.. Aaahh.. Holidays! The best time of the year!
So, how is your 2015? Those 2015 resolutions? I hope you accomplish your 2015 resolutions, and are ready for 2016.
If you ask how's my 2015, well it's been interesting. My 2015 is about traveling (lots of traveling), planning, and working.
This 2015 I finally have a website for Nizar Wogan Photography! I know, I know, it took forevaaah!
Yet I've decided to step back a little bit on my photography business. I decided to rebrand it. From the hardcore shoot and burn photographer to the somehow-in-person-sales photographer. It's not there yet as I don't think this business model will work quite well in Iwakuni.
Besides my business model, part of my rebranding is changing my image. From the regular portrait photographer to the engagement/wedding destination photographer. I meant, I love traveling and photography, so why not combine these two loves of mine, right?
For this rebranding, I started as a vendor at the Bride Story. On September, I participated in one of the wedding exhibitions in Jakarta, Indonesia. I didn't expect anything, but I hope to gain recognition in the Indonesian wedding market, and at least a few new followers on Instagram. LOL
My road is still a long ways to reach my rebranding target, but I know I'm getting there sloooowly. This rebranding has been pretty exhausting.
Anyway....
Sorry for that long boring story. Now let's talk about these pictures below.
Like last year, I also planned to give the ornaments again for my Fall sessions' clients. But unlike last year, this year I tried my best to put the gift in a 'decent' packaging plus chocolates.
I've had the chocolates, the boxes, and the ribbons since November. So this gift most likely has been ready since this early December except.. for the ornaments. Sadly, I couldn't order the ornaments in November as my last session was December 2nd. I immediately ordered the ornaments once I delivered the pictures of my last session. I believe it's on December 5th, and on December 7th I got the notification from the company that my order shipped. I was happy as it should get to Iwakuni in approximately 7-10 days. Two weeks later, I had not received it yet. :( The tracking kept saying it's still in Kansas for the last ten days. I lost hope as I thought it will get here after Christmas, just like last year.
But I believe in unicorns! Yesterday my husband brought the ornaments home! I was thrilled! I spent my evening packing these gifts, which I really enjoyed.
This is just a very small gift from me to my clients, but I hope they know that I really appreciate their business, but more so our friendship.
I can feel that 2016 is going to be an awesome year! I'm so looking forward to 2016, I know my days will be filled with traveling and working :)
Cheers for the great year of 2015, and cheers for the amazing year of 2016!
Happy holidays and be safe, everyone!
Nizar
PS: Since I still have so many boxes, I might make this kind of gift again for my Winter and Spring clients! ;)
The Wrights | Family
I was so happy that I could have sessions with people who dear to my heart, like The Wright family.
Misty might be one of the most supportive people I've ever met. Gotta love her kids, too! And Duce, he's alright. LOL
PS: Mya was little bit sleepy during this photoshoot. LOL It was funny seeing her did some pose with her comfy bed in her mind. But she did great!
The Millers | Family
Finally I had a chance to work with The Millers! What a good looking family!!
And I think I have a crush on Kale now. ;) I can see the Millers' boys are going to be heartbreakers in the future. LOL
The Landins | Family
Tiffany got $50 off for this session as the winner of a random-quick quiz I made on my Facebook page a while back.
A great lighting + a good looking family = amazeball pictures, in my opinion :)
Here are few pictures from The Landins' session :)
